The Magnificent Marconi

The Magnificent Marco has been with me for 14 yrs!!!  This guy is more than a client here, he has been with me through thick and thin.  Marconi and his wife Nadia are the cream of the crop!  There is only one word for Mark's cranial fuzz... and he says it best after every haircut:  PUUURRRFECT!  Thanks for everything bro.

Hip Clip

These swell lads deserved a post on their own!  Alex and Aaron came in today and we had some fun!

Look at this little cup cake, our very own finger curling sensation tries to keep our cameras from seeing that he really does smile sometimes...

Okay, he really doesn't wear his hair like that... back to his all business face, with his all business hair.  The clip is so hip that I am feeling the heat coming off of his cranial cap!

You know Alex couldn't grow any facial hair at all until he started coming to see me!  We make these little boys men eventually!  He really is smiling inside.

We just couldn't get Aaron to keep it together!  This guy looked so fine after his cut, that he couldn't control himself.  Look how happy he is!!!  Don't worry bro, the facial hair is coming in, all in time.

Check out this guy's do... I would name it myself but Aaron's last name is so interesting we will name it after him.  Ok, ready, here it is... SCHWARTZENTRUBER.  Too awesome!

The Red Bomber has descended upon Dundas for a clip!  Its my friend David from Ireland who happily shows off his lovely locks!  What a smile, makes me want to smile... I'm smiling.

Josh is a very special young man who is busting out his back to school do!  This guy is from the City of  Brotherly Love, Philly!!! The home of ROCKY BALBOA!!! I love people who live in Philly especially because ROCKY is from Philly! Big up to all of my brothers who cannot make it over to T.O. for a manly haircut.

Cowboys & Indians

Andrew is famous at Mr. Barber's.  There are many reasons for this but what is said in the shop stays in the shop, but just looking at this guy's lid says it all.

He is laughing now, this is because he just narrowly escaped getting out of the chair before the guy below came in the room!

Yes, we don't hear of him much anymore in Canada, but the Marlboro man is alive and well, and he is cool.  Real cool.  Actually Gwill is ready for anything once we have carved out the hunting hair!

Ferocious Hair Styling

Ever since the Bruce Lee of Dundas St. my friend Bob found out I was a boxer, he has been
wanting to have a go.  Today was the last straw, as soon as I cut his hair, applied the AMERICAN CREW into his hair, I took up to offer.

 Buddy throws a good right and then follows up with a left... impressive, but I've always had a good chin.  We'll rematch next time your fro is out of hand my friend!

People think I only cut hair, but the fact is I help these young boys become men! Check it out, Jake here couldn't even grow facial hair until he started visiting me, now look, you can see there is some obvious plumage there. Jake's so proud!

Had the privilege today of shaping up Stefano's lid.  This lad has crazy great hair but unfortunately could not do anything really special for the camera, like backflips for example.  So, he flashes his teen idol smile and holds up some American Crew!  You would think someone was plugging American Crew or something.... American Crew...

Marvelous Michael has made his wife a very very happy girl in getting that afro puff taken care of by yours truly!

  This dude was so paranoid that a hit would be put on him if he revealed his identity on this blog, he only let us take a picture of his leg!  Check out the shoes eh, nice.  Parenthetical remark: Mr. Barber does not, will not, nor has ever trimmed another man's leg hair.  Friendly reminder.

Another buddy of mine, the greek sensation himself, Spiro came in for a muggin' today!  Spiro is not just another pretty face... this guy is a photographer.  In fact, if you ever see pics of Mr. Barber on the net with the body of Sylvester Stallone, its probably because Spiro has been at his craft again!

Pumped Up Kicks With Johnny Stix

My friend Johnny Stix came in today.  Unfortunately the pic is terrible, but it really doesn't matter because everyone in the Junction already knows Johnny anyways!  This guy is the Don of Toronto Real Estate, I mean, this guy is a class act.  Johnny puts the Head in headcheese, the Mac in macaroni.  You can visit him here if you are looking for a place in T.O. he is the owner of Bloor West Village Real Estate Ltd.

James is a newbie at Mr. Barber and I absolutely owned his lid today...(look at the floor) This guy has gone from chasing crack heads out of establishments to putting on a suit and tie for work.  Heres looking at you bro, wear that mad swag with pride!

The Maestro of Woodworking entered for his Romano special today.  Garry is kicking back after his do and always has a good story to tell us.  Not only does he specialize in high end wood work, but this guy has been all over the world!  Keep smilin' Garry!

Apple's Finest Visits Mr. Barber

Today Mr. Barber's tech support showed up for his regular do!  Kevin is an Apple Genius, works for Apple and basically is responsible for any good choice I ever made regarding technology to date.  He also has a remarkable and refined taste in barbers.

You thought it was a joke?  Look at this guy plotting and planning to manage my future fortune on his Mac!  Nice hair Kev!

"Bottom Only" Day

The Griffith Smile... No Really, He's Smiling!

Today was Bryan Griffith's "bottom only" day.  Bryan has been working at the St. Clair Nissan for years and was famous for his cheesy pony tail which I had the great joy of chopping off many days ago!

Today we just trimmed up the goatee for Mr. Griffith, but he will be back like clockwork in two weeks for a "top and bottom day," which consists of a magnificent Romano Caesar cut and another goatee trim.

Bryan is a cool cat, and will let NO ONE other than myself touch his head.  I'm grateful Bry!  Cheers!

A big hello to all of our clients, families and friends!  As an introductory post Mr. Barber would like to thank all of those brave souls who regularly feed his family, keep the conversation lively and support the shop with their loyal patronage.

We are just beginning to post on the web.... but, hopefully their will be many of your faces put on this blog for your enjoyment, and I will be sure to keep everyone up to date on what is new at 3270 Dundas St. West.  We are always having fun!
